mysnowshoecatzorro

Mid January and the snow has gone.  I think Zorro is glad to have the garden back to its normal state.
At first he was surprised and bemused by the snow. He did not like to feel  the cold of it   and lifted his little white feet in turn and shook them repeatedly. He sniffed it and snuffled it and gave a questioning miaow and ran inside. For  the rest of the day he only went out to do the necessary, but after a day or two he started to go out very frequently, although he only stayed outside for a couple of minutes each time. Every time he came in  he miaowed loudly and made for the warmth of the radiator.
After 5 weeks of snow and ice and sub zero temperatures Zorro had begun to take the white world for granted and was becoming quite an explorer. He even ventured onto the frozen loch where the ice was several inches thick and where the ducks were hoping to be fed.       That was the snow, but there is still time for more.
